For ten years now, Jeff has been busy working the Bay Area music scene, quickly making a name for himself though hard work and talent. I’ve watched his ascension from new kid in town schlepping behind the counter at a local record shop to becoming one of the hardest working and respected area guitarists.
Honestly, it didn’t seem like it was a long time before he was sharing the spotlight with the likes of The Joe Perry Project, Pat Travers, The English Beat, Eddie Money and Gilby Clarke. All this in addition to the original and tribute bands he’s been involved with, (Rubber Side Down, Stung, Riot Act), the list is long because he works. He is currently a cast member of the national renowned show band The Spazmatics and has recently completed a solo instrumental record called This Is Not Here; an ironic title because wherever Jeff is living or playing, he’s very much here, be it New York, Boston or the Bay Area. This isn’t luck, either; he’s an artist who can adapt and absorb multiple styles quickly; it's that element which separates a good guitarist from a great one.
All of this is the product of obsession for music and well-honed skills sharpened at the Berklee College of Music where he earned himself a Bachelor of Music degree. Love of music and hard work, combine the two and you have a talented guitarist like the one here.
